Happy weekending! xoxo
It's been such a busy week, so yesterday we took a break and headed over to Deep Ellum for an evening brewery tour. So much fun!

We took my nephews to The Dallas Zoo while I'm still in town. It was such a fun day strolling around the zoo and visiting with all the animals. I love spending days with these little boys. Looking forward to another play date at The Dallas Arboretum.
These are my absolute favorite things to do in Dallas. It's going to be bittersweet checking them off my list, but oh-so fun!
Well, lovelies I'm back. I know that it's been while... but I needed to take a little break. So much has been happening over the past few months. If you follow me on instagram then you probably already know that the hubby and I are packing our bags and moving to St. Louis, Missouri. With one decision, our perfectly mapped out life was altered, jostled, and shaken about. Every weekend has been filled with family and friends, and we have dedicated copious amounts of time to apartment hunting, city exploring, and (for me) job hunting. Needless to say, I am sad about leaving my beloved city. However, we are going to conquer our list of Dallas to-do's, and say au revoir to Dallas and hello to St. Louis. Life is moving on and so are we. I am going to continue to document my adventures and share the things I love.
xoxo Well, Dallasites we are successfully making our way through this oh-so-wonderful week! So far it's been absolutely splendid - brunch, a movie, shopping, and a visit to the Dallas Zoo today! Tomorrow I leave for Washington D.C. to visit my sweet girlfriend, Mary! I couldn't be more excited! An evening monument tour, capitol wanderings, museums, and of course quality time with my love. I'll definitely be taking lots of pictures to share with y'all when I return! If you want to keep up with my little vacation, I would love for you to follow me on Instagram.
Have a glorious week & weekend! xoxo You can also follow Lavender + Pink on Facebook, Pinterest, and Blog Lovin'! Today is my sister Cerise's birthday! It also happens to be International Women's Day, which I think is incredibly coincidental, since my sister is such a fabulous lady! My wonderfully talented, splendidly snappish, beautiful running-advocate of a sister! I love her! We fight like cats & dogs, but I wouldn't trade her for the world!
For months my sister has been asking me to send her pictures from my wedding (and I keep forgetting)! So in homage to her birthday, I thought I would share some pictures from that day, shared between me and my sister. It was one of my favorite moments and I am so glad it was captured on film. Happy Birthday, Sista! xoxo If you haven't been to Klyde Warren Park, you seriously need to take a trip downtown. My absolute favorite thing about the park is the rotating food trucks from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. every day!! With one of my most recent obsessions, fabulous catered food out of adorable trucks, I can't help cheating on one of my New Year's resolutions - especially for extra cheesy and super greasy deliciousness. I just love the spectacular convenience + variety of choice; and at Klyde Warren you can spread out your goodies on the lawn or enjoy sitting at one of their pretty lime green park tables. I always look forward to grabbing lunch from Ruthie's and The Butcher's Son. Sandwich amazingness!!
Now, don't worry my lovely readers - I'm still eating clean (the majority of the time) - feasting on kale chips, pure proteins, creamy avocado pasta, and just last night I made frozen yogurt drops. But sometimes you have to enjoy a little treat! Go to the park! xoxo Last Saturday afternoon with my mum and sister, rummaging through Lula B's and finding three little baubles to remember our girl's weekend.
Happy Friday! xoxo |
