It's not unusual for The Nasher to have fantastic exhibitions, but this colorful exhibit took the cake! Last Saturday, artists Marianne Newsom and Sunny Sliger visited Dallas and created a huge installation of shredded plastic in the garden. It was lovely! Who knew plastic could be so incredibly beautiful? It was amazing walking into the space and becoming completely struck with the entire garden infused with color. Depending on the wind speed the sculptures take on different forms, making the installation even more delightful. The absolute best part was being able to participate in the creation - mum and I contributed by hanging up a couple of colorful strands.
